2. Description of Service

Deckzilla provides the following services:

• Upload and processing of Anki deck files (.apkg) for AI-based question generation.
• Generation of CEFR-style reading, writing, and speaking practice tasks from your flashcard vocabulary.
• AI-powered feedback on your practice responses, covering intelligibility, vocabulary, grammar, flow, and appropriateness.
• Built-in read-aloud and translation tools to support your learning flow.
• A credit-based system for accessing AI-generated content.

3. Account Registration

To use Deckzilla, you must create an account using Google authentication. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information through your Google account.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Payments

4.1 Free Credits

Upon signing up during our beta period, you receive 20 free credits to explore all features. No payment or credit card is required to claim free credits.

4.2 Paid Credits

Additional credits can be purchased as a one-time payment (currently 100 credits for $2). Paid credits:

• Do not expire — use them at any time, at your own pace.
• Are non-transferable between accounts.
• Are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. We do not store your credit card information directly.

4.4 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Deckzilla only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform to generate harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the platform's AI models or infrastructure.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our prior written consent.
• Share, resell, or redistribute generated content for commercial purposes without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or security.

6. Your Content

6.1 Uploaded Decks

You retain ownership of the Anki decks you upload. By uploading content, you grant Deckzilla a limited, non-exclusive license to process your deck data solely for the purpose of generating practice tasks and providing AI feedback.

6.2 Generated Content

Questions, practice tasks, and feedback generated by Deckzilla are provided for your personal educational use. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be considered a substitute for professional language instruction.

7. Intellectual Property

The Deckzilla platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by Deckzilla and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

8. Beta Service

Deckzilla is currently in public beta. This means:

• Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice.
• The platform may experience downtime or bugs.
• We actively welcome feedback from beta users to improve the product.
• We do not guarantee specific uptime or availability during the beta period.

9. Disclaimers

Deckzilla is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• AI-generated questions or feedback will be 100% accurate or appropriate for your specific learning needs.
• The platform will meet all your expectations or requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deckzilla and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or learning progress, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or other users. Upon termination:

• Your access to Deckzilla will be revoked.
• Unused credits are non-refundable, except where required by law.
• You may request a copy of your data before account deletion.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Your continued use of Deckzilla after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
